Do hiv test (by elisa) after 1 month and repeat the test after 3 month if the 1 st report is negative for confirmation. You can do a rapid hiv test within 1 week after exposure. If the report is negative do elisa test after 1 and 3 months for confirmation. Hiv infection has a window period and report may be negative if done immediately after exposure.
