Dear lybrate user, anger has lots of energy. Anger outbursts harms relationships. It will be helpful for you to learn some" anger management techniques" like - going away from the place for some time, take 50 - 100 deep breaths, till you are calmed down, have a glass of water, learn effective communication skills and let others know, that you are angry, without hurting them physically and/or emotionally. Since you say you are having personality disorder along with anger outbursts, it will be very helpful if you take an appointment with a counsellor/psychologist, who will help you in understanding your own thought processes, the source of your anger and will also help you to modify your behaviour, which is presently harmful, with the help of therapy. When you are beating someone, please remember that you are not only inflicting physical pain, you are hurting the personal emotionally as well. And the emotional wounds may be much more deeper and may take a very long time to heal.
