Dear Friend, Thanks for the question. Borderline Personality Disorder is a mental disorder characterised by unstable moods, behaviour and relationships. Symptoms include emotional instability, feelings of worthlessness, insecurity, impulsivity and impaired social relationships. Treatments include talk therapy or, in some cases, medication. Hospitalisation helps if symptoms are severe.
