Stress and depression can be relieved to some extent with relaxation exercises like yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises, counselling, psychotherapy sessions etc. However for cases where symptoms have been severe, long standing or relapsing every now and then, medications may be required under the supervision of a psychiatrist. This is to control symptoms from growing in severity and for preventing relapses. Take care.
