Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given, looking at the weight and height your bmi is 30.46 kg/sq meter (normal < 23 kg? Sq meter), which means there is an excess of over 18 kgs. This also causes excess blood glucose levels, so there is a need to reduce the weight. So please look at that aspect. At your age the ideal glucose levels should be < 100 mg & pp should be 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. So there is a need to upgrade the treatment. Plus there is a need to look at your overall treatment which includes fasting, pp glucose, hba1c%, dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise as well as serum creatinine and urea. So please come back with all these details in a private conversation so that I will be able to guide and prescribe necessary drugs too. Thanks.
