Hi I have done my cect scan of abdomen and pelvis and the report says calcific chronic pancreatitis which occupy an area about 3x2 cm in head and uncinate process of pancreas. My lipase levels were 123 and I don't have any severe pain. I have quit alcohol and smoking 3 months back. I chew betel nuts and tobacco once or twice a day. My liver tests, cholesterol and triglycerides all have come normal. As suggested by physician I have done calcium serum and pth test. Calcium is 11 which is elevated and pth (intact molecule) is 10 which is below the normal. My stool tests and vitamin d are normal. I am taking cholesterol medicine rosuvas daily since last 4 years. I wanted to ask: do I have chronic pancreatitis? Any other complication if any? I got a acute pancreatitis attack in june 2018. I take rosuvas f for cholesterol.
