My mother is 52 years old and she had some problems like sudden anger, headache etc. Her mother had also same problems. We consulted a psychiatrist and he prescribed qutipin 100 & nexito 20. These medicine are being used from last 2 years. But still no cure. Is it ok to go on with them. I heard qutipin & nexito are not recommended for long term use. Please help.

Dear , from the given information, it is difficult to diagnose your mother's problem. But it is evident that she is treated for depression and anxiety disorder. Both these conditions are mental disorders. These mental disorders are usually treated with a combination of medicines and other means like awareness, meditation, psychotherapy techniques, life style changes etc. Please consult a psychologist for a consultation. Take care.
