My mother has nausea/ dizziness/ headache/ spinning on head for 3 days. She is not a diabetic patient. But some one tell me to do blood sugar tests. After test result is- fasting- 139.00 mg/dl and pp (2 hour after meal)----265 mg/dl. So what should I do. My mother takes metocard xl 50 mg 1 tab regularly for palpitation sometimes.

You should get her hba1c done and get her started on meds for diabetes. Also get her bp checked regularly.

Hi, the postprandial glucose levels are too high and they are already in the range of diabetes, can you tell, 1)is your mother hypertensive? 2) how often ,she takes metocard xl because you wrote sometimes in the end 3) did you take ecg for your mother anytime because in case of palpitations ecg is must 4) can you also go for hba1c test so that we can know whether she I diabetic from how many many months 5) consult after taking every thing, so that we can decide.
