Vit d is important for bone health as it helps body to use calcium. Deficiency of this can cause ricket in children where bone tissue does not mineralize, leading to to soft bones and skeletal deformities form and ostiomalacia in adults. Vit d deficienct also leads to fatigue, muscle cramps, muscle weakness, headache, poor. Vit d can get from fatty fish like tuna, mackerel, salmon, egg yolk, cheese, dairy products, soy milk, orange juice, cereals etc. Daily requirement for adult is 600 iu/day.
