Hi. I am 40 year old female. I had hairline fracture in my little toe 3 years back. My ankle was swollen & it took me 6 months to recover (my ortho said swelling & delayed recovery is due to my weight 98 kg at that time.) I workout in gym & for the past 2 months, my ankle swelling is on & off with pain. Pain is in little toe too. Also a swollen feeling under the little toe while walking but there is nothing if I feel with my finger. My workout exercises are moderate (full plank, lunges, a crunch, treadmill, efx, rectum cycle) my weight now is 91 kg. My hemoglobin was 8.6 & vit d is 21.04 on nov 2019. Have not checked since then. Should I get x-ray or visit an ortho or just ice pack the pain away? Thanx for taking my question.

Hello Subddra ji. The excess amount of wieght is the major cause of wear and tear to the weight bearing joints . Now you are doing exercise and gymming which causes added injuries... It is better to do exercise which does not cause any extra strain on your joints. the safest being cycling, swimming, yoga, pranayama etc... You can consult me online for proper guidance and dietary suggestions..
