I am working as junior health inspector in health service my twin brother is also jhi .we are basically anxious in nature (our parents also) we married 4 months back. Due to corona related work load our anxiety escalated. And we had difficulty in sleeping also. So we consulted a psychologist he referred to psychiatrist. We both consulted a same psychiatrist at same time. Our symptoms are similar. Psychiatrist told we both having mild depression and have to take drugs 9_12 months along with yoga and meditation. I was prescribed vilazodone 20 and my brother vortioxetine 10 (which is more expensive. We are taking since last 14 days and both feeling better. Which will be more better and efficous our next visit after 6 weeks we planning to tell our doctor that if possible prescribe both same medicine as symptoms are similar. Please tell which will be better. Since we have to take these medications at least till corona disappears.
