Hi my mother is 61 years and she is having following symptoms for a year - excess sweat, heat intolerance, relatively high heartbeat, increased appetite, sometimes tremors. Also very recently her sugar levels are also bit elevated. Is she suffering from hyperthyroidism? What is the treatment we can take while in lockdown?

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) occurs when your thyroid gland produces too much of the hormone thyroxine. Hyperthyroidism can accelerate your body's metabolism, causing unintentional weight loss and a rapid or irregular heartbeat. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
