80 year old. Was diagnosed for fever in last 2 month. After that he recovered but again he is having 103 fever. Health is not good.

No details of past reports, diagnosis and treatment. No duration of present fever and accompanying complaints. Details and duration of treatment of typhoid fever. Is diabetes under control as shown by blood tests. In initial stages bed rest, plenty of water and paracetamol tablets 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days can be tried. Maintain temp chart 4 times in a day 7 am, 11 am, 6 pm 10 pm and consult a physician internal medicine - preferably same who treated typhoid for proper clinical examination, related tests, diagnosis and further management.
