Hello lybrate-user, if your acne is centred more around the jaw and is aggravated before your periods, hormonal issues might play a role. First make sure that your ultrasonography was done between 2nd - 6th day of your menstrual cycle. You might have to be prescribed with certain hormonal tests. Second, you need to follow a balanced diet with regular exercise with low consumption of sugar and fatty food. If none of this is helping you might need some medication to help you with the acne.
