I am a 58 year old male with type 2 diabetes. I just checked my blood sugar using my thumb and it read as 120, less than a minute later I checked again with my pinky and it showed 248. What is happening? I?ve only found online that people with this happening only vary by 30 at most.

Please check your blood sugar levels from venous blood and through reputed labs because from finger tips you can only collect capillary blood which is not very accurate measurement. The portable devices are also very problematic indeed.
