I have been taking one amlong 5 mg tablet daily for over four years now you to control high blood pressure, which used to be around 175/90 most of the time. Now I am having b.p. Around 140/80, which I am monitoring on a regular basis. I am 80 years of age and out of india on holidays and have limited number of above mentioned medicine. My question is whether it would be in order for me to discontinue taking medicine for another 3 months after which I shall be back in india.

No sir please continue medicine without fail. At your age you should continue med without break. If you have your prescription then you can take from a local hospital.
