Hello. I am currently out of the country in italy from america. I spent 5 days in rome and 3 in venice. I noticed a few mosquitoes bites on the 12th in rome and around 14 total on th4 13th and 14th in venice. I read on the internet that in 2018 venice had outbreaks of west nile and that symptoms appear 3 to 14 days after being bitten. The bug bites themselves are going away but I have been having headaches, nausea and last night incredible back pain and stiffness. I am hoping I do not have west nile as I have no doctor here in italy.
