Dear sir/ madam I am facing constant itching and urge to scratch my vulvar region. There is no itching in vagina. I have already taken 14 days course of urikind and nitrofurantoin. I have also taken fluconazole twice. These medicines were prescribed by gynaecologist. Kindly help.

Hello, Need to know some details. Whether you have any vaginal discharge. Any lesion on the vulva. Apart from infective reason, the other cause for itching can be allergic. White lesions of vulva can also lead to immense itching. Maintain local hygiene. Use cotton undergarments. A course of metrogyl along with external application of clobetasol can be very helpful. May also require anti allergic. Avoid soap or any detergent.
