My dentist grinds my molar all side to make a place for crown fitting, my question is it essential to capping teeth? When I have no problem after RCT and permanent filling. please answer.

sir after root canal treatment the tooth is non vital.that means the tooth is unable to withstand the normal occlusal forces which can further lead to tooth breakage. once the tooth is broken no furthur treatment can be done ,hence to prevent that we advice to place cap after root canal.
