I did hormones test on 3rd day of menstrual cycle. Values are like this fsh is 5.57 miu/ml, lh is 4.27 miu/ml, serum prolactin (iii generation) is 13.93 ng/ml, serum testosterone is 0.2 ng/ml, fasting blood sugar is 99, fasting insulin level is 15.2 mcu/ml. Also bilateral polycystic ovaries found in scan. Can you please let me know if insulin levels are high and do I have insulin resistance? Are hormone values correct or having issues? Please suggest.
