Eat good amount of cranberry preparation (cranberry juice is widely available at all grocery stores). Genital hygiene and safe sexual exposure (barrier contraception) can go long way keeping you away from urine infections. Also an early treatment can abort a starting infection before blowing into a full blown attack. Urine infection in males normally mandates a full urinary tract workup (ultrasonography and maybe functional studies too).
