I am a 31 year old male. In the last 7-8 months, I have noticed headache originating from my neck. Also when I turn my neck left and right, I could hear a slight cracking and grinding noise. Went to a neurologist and got the MRI of brain and spine done. Following clinical findings noted from the MRI: 1. Straightening of cervical lordosis likely due to muscle spasm. 2. Early degenerative Spondylitis changes with multiple disc dehydration. 3. Annular bulge from C 3- 4 to c7-D1 levels coupled with minute posterior osteophytes with Central bilateral posterolateral protrusion at c5-6 level and central protrusion at c 6-7 level causing mild to moderate Central spinal stenosis at these levels and neural foramina compromise at C 56 11 with suggestion of neural forminal compromise at C5-6 level with suggestion of neural impingement at c5-6/ c6-7 levels, predominantly at C 5-6 level on the right side as described in the text above. 4. Loss of normal lumbar lordosis likely due to muscle spasm. 5. Early degenerative Spondylosis seen involving lumbar spine I have been prescribed tablet Provanol SR 40 and Topaz 25 mg for 20 dsys. Kindly advice if the diagnosis and treatment is satisfactory. Also I have been told to perform some cervical exercise and use of good quality pillow. Pls suggest any further treatment and your kind advice. Thank you.
