I am a 66 years old Male. I had a spasm IHD problem on 05 Aug 2009. They have carried out angiogram and removed mild blocks. After that they have advised me to continue with ecosprin 10 mg and ATORVA STATS 20 mg daily and continue six monthly periodical check up. I have been doing that. So far I had no major problems after that. But recently my LDL, VLDL & TRIGLYCERIDES and Total cholesterol has started increasing. How can I reduce these bad cholesterols and increase my HDL cholesterol. Can you please suggest methods and food I should avoid to decrease BAD cholesterol & Increase HDL, Kindly also suggest other steps/precautions I have to take to keep my heart healthy. Waiting for your detailed reply to my above queries. Thanking you in anticipation.
