I?m 30 years old. I am constantly gaining weight, I got my thyroid test done and here are my results. T3 - 99 T4 - 7 TSH - 6.60 I am under medication. I take thyroxine sodium tablets I.P. 50 mcg, one pill every morning empty stomach. Is there anything to worry about? My periods are regular. Will I face problems in conceiving?

Do not worry. Go for regular health check up with your doctor. Take all the preventive measures as suggested by your doctor. Once the thyroid problem is stabilized, then you can plan for pregnancy (discuss with your gynecologist ).

You need to increase dose of thyroxine undr supervision of your doctor. Try to control your weight with diet restrictions and regular exercise. You will not have any problem due to hypothyroid if you keep your TSH under 3.
