I had been diagnosed with 140/90+ before 3 months. We established with doc that it was lifestyle and had high ggt+ sgpt. Was due to chronic alcohol abuse. Also smoked 20 cigarette a day for last few years. Had been smoking for 26 years (initially less but last 5 years 20+). Now no cig for 2 months however I do vape 6 mg stopped alcohol for a month nd stopped cigs. All blood reports were normal. Started alcohol in very less qty and moderation. Bp came down too to 130 /125 or less 85/80 or less initially had 10 mg calcium channel blocker reduced to 5 then heart beats were a bit high so started 2.5 mg nebi instead of calc blocker. Now I am weaning off and will stop all meds in 3 days (discussed with doc and approved by him. Have been exercising regularly and now increased to double of what I did (25+kms cycling and some weights). Diet with less sodium. Many other changes. Lost 7 kgs in 2 months (now 75) anything else you suggest I Do to avoid any effects as I stop meds and to keep bp under control.

Great job, keep it up but strict monitoring and follow up is required to stop medication. Always be an example. Do not just think for few months. All the best for a medicine free life.
