I am suffering from Diabetes Melitus and taking Tab Ziglim M2 &Teneligliptin 20 My sugar levels r controlled but for last 1 month I HV been suffering from numbness and heaviness in my rt hand. My bp is 150/90 and taking nothing for that. Pl prescribe some medicine fir this ailment.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thaks for the query. It is good to know that blood glucose level is well in control. As regards numbness and heaviness in right hand, it could be due to (peripheral neuropathy, which does develop once diabetes goes on for a long period (over months to years). This happens even when glucose control is very good. I am sure you are aware good control means maintaining FBG < 100 mg & PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8 Most important is to achieve very strict glucose control plus certain medications like methylcobalamine, and some combinations are useful. Plus gabapentine or pragabalin could be used. As regards BP 150/90 mm Hg, is high needs some antihypertensive.In this commiunication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no prescriptions are allowed.
