Dear Dr. I am a 47 Year Old Chronic Bachelor. I am morbidly obese my weight is 120 Kg and height 169 cm. Had brain surgery in 2000 for intractable epilepsy. But I have chronic conditions like BP cholesterol Obstructive sleep apnea .i am following a diet plan but still unable to lose weight. CAn you suggest better options.

Hi lybrate-user, I am sorry to hear about your condition. You need to exercise also. I hope post surgery you can walk in a normal manner, if so please get a fitness from physician for exercise. Start slowly and go up gradually under an instructor s guide. Some yoga exercises may also be beneficial. If it is difficult then consult a bariatric surgeon.
