Photophobia or light sensitivity occurs when your eyes hurt on exposure to bright light. It is a very common symptom associated with a number of minor and serious health conditions. Mild photophobia cases are characterized by squinting of the eyes in brightly lit rooms or outdoors and serious cases of it is characterized by pain in the eyes in all kinds of light. Brain and eye conditions alongside migraines are a few of the causes of this condition.
