Eat for Good Vision

MD - PHYSCIAN
General Physician, Delhi
Eat for Good Vision

Protecting your eyes starts with the food on your plate. Nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zinc, and vitamins C and E might help ward off age-related vision problems such as macular degeneration and cataracts, studies show. Regularly eating these foods can help lead to good eye health:

Green, leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, and collards

Salmon, tuna, and other oily fish

Eggs, nuts, beans, and other non-meat protein sources

Oranges and other citrus fruits or juices

Dear lybrateuser, drinking warm water in the morning is good, one or two glasses is good enough for you. It is more beneficial if you add lemon & a teaspoon of honey to it (do not add honey if you have high blood sugar).

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Concentration is the result of interest, love and dedication. In your present stage, the priorities are shifting. Sometimes thd priority is career, sometime it is girlfriend, friendship, role confusion etc. In this scenario, concentration is difficult. Dedicate yourself and you can see the difference. Take care.

Hello. Eyes have many small blood vessels. It is normal and is required for nutrition of eye. Eye redness is most often due to swollen or dilated blood vessels. This makes the surface of the eye look red. There are many causes of a red eye or eyes like infection, allergy. Foreign body in eyes. Some are medical emergencies and some are a cause for concern, but not an emergency. Others are nothing to worry about. Consult your local eye specilist to see what is the cause.
