I have a missing tooth. My doctor suggested to go for bridge. Could you please tell me whether the bridge is best or the implantation. And also can you tell me pros and cons for bridge and implantation. Which will be for longer period.

Hi lybrate-user, bridge for missing teeth is a conventional procedure while implants are modern solutions for the same situation. Bridge needs support of two adjoining teeth while implant does not depend on adjacent teeth. Only disadvantage of implants is the cost that seems more but it is usually worth it, depending on clinicians experience and post-operative care and support.
