I am suffering from fatty liver my total bilirubin 0.9 mg direct bilirubin 0.3 mg indirect bilirubin 0.6 mg aspartate transaminase SGPT is 75 U/L .Alanine transaminase SGOT is 158 U/L alkaline phosphatase 95 u/l .is anything to worry. What diet should I taken. Am taking medication on this Evion 400 mg ursocol 300 mg. Please reply.

Fatty liver is a very common diagnosis and can be due to many reasons. Common ones are Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (obesity, diabetes,deranged lipid profile), alcohol intake, hepatitis C, hepatitis B etc. You should get tested for hepatitis B and C.you should quit alcohol or drink as less as possible. Control of diabetes and weight reduction is recommended in NAFLD. Fatty liver may progress to cirrhosis in the long term if risk factors are not removed.

Medication you take is good enough and grade 1 fatty liver is not a serious issue But enzyme levels are high.
