Dear Mr. lybrate-user! Your insulin dose can be gradually reduced and stopped, and simultaneously the tablets can be adjusted to ensure your blood glucose remain in control. As per Lybrate policy, medicines cannot be posted in public forum. Hence I would advice to get back to me with details of all your medicines and investigations in a private online consultation. I need to review your papers to give you the best treatment regimen without insulin. Take care.

your report shows - Hyperthyroidism with Gallstones & DM. So long your taking insulin or oral hypoglycemics you can take rice at dinner & lunch as well. I don't think any problem in taking normal diets with a weight of 55 kg.
