I have myopia with -1 in left eye and -2.75 in right eye but doctor suggested me -2.5 lens to avoid from headache due to impair in power. I wanted to know that is this difference in power normal or is it a serious issue. Also there is a dark spot on my cornea of right eye whose power is more. Also I want to know that is there any relation between eyes and ears bcz from the same side I generally hve ear infections like otitis media or otitis externa. Also doctor has said they I hve small hole in the same ear. It feels like my left organs like eyes and ears hve became the working organs. In hospitals doctors prescribe drops which are temporary cures, neither I have asked nor they hve suggested for operations. What should I do please suggest.

It is normal to have diff of power in both the eyes but some times it is difflt. To adjust. Contact lenses are better option in such case.

The difference in eye power is not a 'serious'issue. Its just the way it is. 0.25 undercorrection will barely be appreciated by u. The ear problem will have no bearing on your eye. But it's best you stay under regular follow up with ENT Specialist.

Hi. We need to find out precise power of glasses and give the same number for contact lenses if the power of glasses is less than 3.5. Doctor could have given you less number depending upon your working distance. There is no connection between eye issues and ear issues in your case. Difficult to comment on spot on the eye without clinical examination. Thanks.
