My girlfriend has PCOD/PCOS & she occasionally suffers from lower abdominal pain. Is it safe to have sex with this issue , should it be a hindrance for normal intercourse & if so what are the preventive measures I can follow? Also she says she faces pain afterwards any vaginal intercourse sometimes. Advise me for the same. Thank you.

Pcod/pcos has nothing to do with sexual intercourse. Use lubricants before actual penetration. For pain in lower abdomen mag phos 6x - needs to be taken.

It is absolutely safe to have intercourse in a patient of pcos. But do use contraceptive for preventing pregnancy as well as stds. Slight amt of pain is normal after intercourse. But she shud visit a gynaec if there is extensive pain. Also she shud be worked up for pcos and treated accordingly. Feel free to consult a gynaec.
