Hi, I am female 23 years old, suffering from bone TB and at present she is pregnant. Her weight is 35 kg and body structure is very lean and skinny. Although its first month after testing via prega news kit, I need help in regards that shall we go for baby. As her bone TB course duration is 1.5 years and she had completed only 6 months. Beside her health is not good but she wants baby and just because of her poor health I am afraid of any miss happening towards the life of baby and my wife. Please guide me.

Hi Gaurav , I will be of the opinion that she should continue pregnancy. As TB of the bone may spread to uterus through blood which creats problem in conception. Already she had completed 6months of pregnancy. She can continue TB treatment further in pregnancy provided medicines are safe in pregnancy. Regards to her health is she is lean only 35kg needs proper nutrition with high protein diet. If you give proper nutrition to her it will benefit to her. Please it is not guarantee if she terminate pregnancy and her health will recover, pregnant will give her feel good, motherhood and happiness this is most precious gift given by god.
