Epilepsy is a treatable disorder. Medicines have to be taken for atleast 3 years after the last fit has occurred. If seizures keep on occurring at intervals then medicines need to be changed or added accordingly, and further continued for 3 years. For any further queries on the disorder or treatment options, you may consult online.
