Hello Mr. lybrate-user, an increase in aso titer indicates a recent streptococcal infection. Streptococcus is a bacteria that cause several conditions in the body, the commonest being sore throat. To understand your result better, I would like to know if you are currently suffering from any symptoms like sore throat, fever, joint pains, etc. To give a general idea, a declining aso level can be a good sign which indicates you are getting better. In contrast, increasing levels, along with other symptoms can mean you need more medical care.
