When I was younger I received trauma to my lower back (fell on a stone) a few years ago my lower back started hurting so much where after sitting for a while standing up straight was impossible until after some time. It eased up a while and whenever I get my period, that spot would hurt. Now I get a numbing in my leg when I sit too long and the other night I couldn't sleep due to a burning sensation on both my legs. What should I do?

Better to visit an orthopaedician for an examination. Its possible a nerve is being pinched and causing such sensation .also, get a vitamin b12 and vitamin d tested.
