I am suffering from chronic constipation, incomplete evacuation, dry and hard stools results in piles and indigestion problems.in the past appendix & small bowel obstruction lap surgery done in years 2014 & 2017. I am a vegetarian takes eggs occasionally and eats fruits like apple, banana regularly, daily I am taking laxatives pruvict 2 mg, cremaffin plus or piclin 20 ml & using oil ointment I wants to know despite taking precautions & medication still why I am having constipation, piles and fatty liver issues? Am I taking wrong medicine or needs to change or modify course of medication & treatment? Pls advice thanks in advance.

Dear sir amantrel can cause constipation. However, you seem to be taking too many laxatives for constipation and have developed a dependence on them. Since some of your constipation is probably related to medication, you might need laxatives sometimes, but to start reducing the requirement-exercise, diet, and abdominal massage can help. You may consult me for some guidance on that. Please also share your liver function test and ultrasound so that I can assess and suggest a plan for your fatty liver issues.
