My mother is 50 and last night she had dizziness followed by vomiting (3 times) and sweating and shortness of breath. She does not take any medications, and has no other diagnosis. This was not followed by any pain. Is it something to be concerned?

Dear lybrate-user, your mothe's symptom are suggestive of hyperacidity most probabaly due to stress induced / or due to oily spicy - or fermented food. When gastric acid level is undue high our body tries to throw away it by vomiting and other content of food, during vomiting there are perspiration due to reverse reflux action of stomach which causes dizziness.
