You have to change your lifestyle and after having below normal level cholesterol level on your test report you can stop taking medicine, but high cholesterol+hypertension is a rf for cardiovascular disease, even after normal report after some time it increases so you have to restart the medicine. As I have seen in many patients to whom I have prescribed these medicines, after finding normal cholesterol level they stop taking medicine without consulting and after a month or 2 they came with high bp and increased levels of cholesterol and they have to restart the medicines. So, my advice for you is to change your lifestyle ,do brisk walking, don't take stress ,eat healthy ,green leafy vegetables ,fresh fruits and keep monitoring your cholesterol.
