For your age your bp has reached the upper level of normal reading. You have not mentioned your body weight. If you are obese you must work on reducing the weight. You should have good life style like proper timing, daily exercise like walking for 45 minutes, proper diet with less fat, no fried item, plenty of fruits and green leafy vegetables, less of salty food items. Maintain a diary to record blood pressure once a week preferably in evening when you are relaxing and not in a stressful mood. If readings are consistently above 140/90 mm hg. Consult a good physician for medications if any. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Good sleep is also important.
