I continued take medicine for 3 month from kolkata Dr. anirban biswas my problem is mineire's disease so I fully trusted last 3 month I feel now going better every thing but yesterday repeat it vertigo so I feel very sad I talk to the Dr. but they said repeat 10 days take medicine but how long I take it .i want I permanent cure.

Dear lybrate-user,----as you had a diagnosis of meiniere's disease----- first you have to understand the disease and accept it ------it is an inner ear disorder believed to be caused by cnanges in the fluid of vestibulocochlear apparatus with 3 semicircular calals that creates the sense of balance and is in inner ear.---this causes episodes of vertigo----this can be controlled with medicines ---but cann't be cured. It may last for years or may be there through out life .----alon with medicines self care selfcare is important ---have low salt diet ;restrict coffee and caffeine containing colas; chocolates etc; alcoholand tobacco. ------manage allergic problems effectively and avoid allergy triggers like some smells; roomdust ; smoke ; pollen grains etc -----moreover develop positive mental energy and improve your happiness index by being little philosophical about life do mild exercise ; pranayama etc and avoid jerky movements of head.
