You seem to understand your problem rather well. It is definitely a stress related problem but it is difficult to say whether the chicken came first or the egg. In the sense whether you had anxiety problems that had caused a nervous disposition or the nerves were already frayed and you developed anxiety because of it. A neurologist will be able to give a definite opinion on that. Any which way you can do some of the following to see how much it works: you definitely must meet with a counselor to identify the origin of your fears and learn to deal with that emotion in particular. Go to a gym and do some light weight-training exercise, especially to firm up the arms and hands. Yoga and meditation will definitely help. A combination of a multivitamin and multi-mineral with calcium tablets will help deal with the effects of stress from a physical sense. The neurologist may recommend some prescription to treat the nerves too. He may also recommend some exercises or physiotherapy to help with the recovery. I hope that you did not discontinue propranolol on your own without consulting your doctor! discuss that too with your doctor.
