I have 16 years old and I took levofloxacin (tavanic 500 mg) from 6 months ago for my acne under a prescription by my dermatologist. I still take this antibiotic 500 mg once a day for seven consecutive days in a month. Should I be concerned about the side effects? Because I saw an warning phrase that said that this antibiotic should not be administrated to children or teenagers. By the way the treatment is really effective, like after three days of taking it my skin is like never had acne and after that period for 7 days my skin is clear for 1 week and after that it starts with new pimples until the next month when I start the treatment over and over again.
