Sir, as you were in a plaster cast for 8 weeks for a fracture, there is bound to be some amount of swelling as there was no movements of the joints during this period. The swelling will subside on its own slowly as you start moving the involved joints. You can use a crepe bandage during walking/standing which will help in reducing the swelling.
