As per mine knowledge her weight is appropriate as per her age. Complementary feeding is started at 6 months of age along with breast feeding. We can serve the baby with blended or mashed banana / vegetable soups/dal soups/ mashed potato/ pureed fruits/ dal rice mixture and much more. During complementary feeding it's important to include minimum four food groups for e.g. Cereals, pulses, green leafy vegetables, fats and oils, fruits and vegetables. At the end I will suggest you to consult a qualified pediatric dietician. She will plan a complementary meal plan for your growing infant. Healthy nutrition at this stage plays a very important role for the growth of baby. Take care dietitian sanchita.
