Regards Lybrate user. Best wishes on your motherhood. Pain in legs may be related to postural changes of back. The demands placed on back during nursing the child or carrying the child may affect the movement patterns of the back, and may lead to pain. Sometimes, there may not be pain in the back, but only in the legs, which is also a possibility. Please observe if you have any stiffness in back or any back pains that is relatable to the leg pains, if so then the cause of the issue may be at the back. It is recommended to consult an orthopaedician or orthopaedic physiotherapist to find the cause and have it treated appropriately.
