I have been diagnosed with PCOD with following symptoms: Severe Acne, Heavy body hair, Frequent hairfall and irregular periods. But I am an underweight woman and trying hard to gain weight. I have been suggested Ginette-35 for 6 months. Do I need to take any other medicine simultaneously with Ginette?

As you are suffering for pcod, in which there is excessive hormone build up in your body which is responsible for the hair growth or hirsutism. It can be controlled with lifestyle modifications and medicines. Pcod causes lots of hair growing hormones to build up. Ginette-35 for 6-12 months will stop growth of new hairs on your body. If you do not have hair growth, you will not benefit from ginette. Menses will be regularised only till you r taking ginette, next month it will be same.
