Sir I am a 53-year-old male, diabetic for 20 years, and used to take whisky thrice weekly, 4 days back I went for a blood check-up and got bilirubin total count of 1.46, direct 0.43 and indirect 1.03, I am a feeling light pain in the abdomen, now I have stopped drinking from 4 days, is it dangerous? Please suggest me.

What about other tests such as sgot and sgpt, also will require usg abdomen to rule out alcoholic hepatitis. Abstain from alcohol atleast till the symptoms subside. Need detailed evaluation, consult general physician.
